Today’s post is an outfit deconstruction for my corporate ladies or those who have a “dress code” for work. You’ll see it’s a much more professional outfit than I usually share, yet being in corporate for 15 years I get it!
The purpose of a networking event is to make connections, and in order to have people remember you, you need to stand out! Yes, your charming personality helps, yet why not use your style as well.
The “right” outfit will not only draw people to you, it also helps them remember you after meeting dozens of others.
And it all starts with your power piece, hero piece, pop piece… whatever name resonates.

As you’ll hear at the end, filming this actually made me realize I’m due for another closet purge! I’ve been holding onto these dresses from my corporate days that no longer align with my energy and the woman I am today. I love that previous version of me and have so much respect for how she got me to where I am today, yet she has evolved.
